In a tiny shop tucked away...

behind Rabin Square, a family of violin makers quietly launches some of the world's greatest virtuosos and restores the voices of the six million souls lost to the Holocaust.

The Luthier: The Ballad of Amnon Weinstein traces Amnon’s extraordinary journey from Bohemian artist to master violin maker. Amnon's passion and mastery would lead him to restore the collection known as the Violins of Hope, haunting symbols of Jewish suffering and resilience from the Holocaust.

Simultaneously, composer Berthold Tuercke rushes to complete his symphony honoring the stories behind each violin in the collection. As Amnon's and Berthold's stories converge and diverge, a ticking clock chases each master craftsmen. Berthold rushing to complete his Concerto for 53 Violins of Hope in time for its world premier. Amnon racing against time itself.
